Spoliation ... THE SPANISH STATE TAX TO THE KINGDOM OF VALENCIA?
Ferrer.
as we squeezed oranges. Spain submitted to the Kingdom of Valencia with a dramatic fiscal plundering. According to data fiscal balance of 2005 and published in 2008 by the Ministry of Economy and Finance, Valencia is the third autonomy that gives the state more money in relation to its Gross Domestic Product (GDP). Specifically, the State took away in 2005, 6.32% of our GDP. Just beyond us Balearic Islands (with a 14.20%) and Catalonia (8.70%). We
third more pay. This contribution could be fair if they conform with our wealth. That is, we are the third most pay because we are also the third most charge. But that does not correspond with reality. As reported in 2005 the National Statistics Institute (INE) income Valencian average amounts to 19,057 euros. Ranks tenth in the standings (out of nineteen autonomy), for € 20,833 under the average of Spain.
According to the Ministry of Social Affairs, the average pension from Social Security (which includes paid retirement, permanent disability, widowhood, orphanhood and family) came in December 2005 559.17 per month for Valencia. Again below the average, which rose to 611.68 per month. If wages rise, we were number 10 (of 19 autonomous regions) in pensions we sink directly to the place 15 out of 19 autonomous regions.
Thus, situations like this: Valencia (10 th in salary, € 19,057), Aragon (7 th in salary, 22,403 euros), Valencia (15 th place on pensions, € 559.17), Aragon (8 th place in pension with € 629.12). The result? Valencia has to pay to Aragon. We provide the state a 6.32% of our GDP and Aragon receives from the State an amount equal to 1.83% of GDP. The best part? The solidarity of Aragon to us: "Not a drop of water for Valencia!"
