... THE CRISIS DID YOUR SPANISH PROPERTY A GO IN THE KINGDOM OF VALENCIA?
Ferrer.

The current economic crisis in Spain, caused by the bursting of the housing bubble had its kick-off in Valencian lands. It would be not telling the truth if we said that the crisis has been born or brought into the Kingdom of Valencia, as the housing speculation has been a common practice in Spain in recent years. However, it was here that lit the fuse that already anticipated the future bankruptcy of many construction and real estate. The collapse of companies Astroc and Llanera was kick-started the housing crisis.

In July 2007 the President of Astroc, Enrique Bañuelos, resigned from office. The construction of an accumulated Morvedre endless fall into the bag, to the point that would leave shortly after the IBEX 35. Astroc a year before had an incredible rise in the stock market Bañuelos that placed as the third richest man in Spain and 95 in the world by Forbes magazine . His personal fortune amounted to 10,000 million dollars. Astroc was the icon of the housing bubble, a company that was like a balloon, is inflated a lot but is empty inside.

In October 2007 the construction and real estate group Llanera (Játiva) went into receivership with the inability to refinance its long-term debt of 746 million euros. Fernando Gallego , CEO of Llanera, filed for voluntary bankruptcy creditors. In previous years, Llanera was highlighted by a frenetic business growth. Thus, the housing crisis that has bankrupted many companies had its first chapter in Valencia, a year ahead to what would later happen in Spain.

as we squeezed oranges. Spain submitted to the Kingdom of Valencia with a dramatic fiscal plundering. According to data fiscal balance of 2005 and published in 2008 by the Ministry of Economy and Finance, Valencia is the third autonomy that gives the state more money in relation to its Gross Domestic Product (GDP). Specifically, the State took away in 2005, 6.32% of our GDP. Just beyond us Balearic Islands (with a 14.20%) and Catalonia (8.70%). We

third more pay. This contribution could be fair if they conform with our wealth. That is, we are the third most pay because we are also the third most charge. But that does not correspond with reality. As reported in 2005 the National Statistics Institute (INE) income Valencian average amounts to 19,057 euros. Ranks tenth in the standings (out of nineteen autonomy), for € 20,833 under the average of Spain.

According to the Ministry of Social Affairs, the average pension from Social Security (which includes paid retirement, permanent disability, widowhood, orphanhood and family) came in December 2005 559.17 per month for Valencia. Again below the average, which rose to 611.68 per month. If wages rise, we were number 10 (of 19 autonomous regions) in pensions we sink directly to the place 15 out of 19 autonomous regions.

Thus, situations like this: Valencia (10 th in salary, € 19,057), Aragon (7 th in salary, 22,403 euros), Valencia (15 th place on pensions, € 559.17), Aragon (8 th place in pension with € 629.12). The result? Valencia has to pay to Aragon. We provide the state a 6.32% of our GDP and Aragon receives from the State an amount equal to 1.83% of GDP. The best part? The solidarity of Aragon to us: "Not a drop of water for Valencia!"

The first European paper mill dating from 1056. Was on the outskirts of the prosperous and cultured city of Xativa, rich in water and linen, and his owner was Abu Masaifa . By the old canal, built a paper mill over 20 workers. It was the first produced in Europe.

By the year 1150 the paper industry produced a paper Játiva so striking it exported around the world. In 1154, the Arab geographer Al-Idrisi Játiva said on: "It makes it a role that is not unique in the world and is known in the East and West."

Interestingly, the export of paper from abroad Játiva influenced the name that has taken this material into other languages, leaving it without too many variations. The English were very good customers and may therefore be written in English as in Valencia, paper.

With Jàtiva already incorporated in the Kingdom of Valencia, King James I the Conqueror favored paper production. The paper fed setabense Crown files and he wrote such works as the Book of Repartimiento (1237-1252), or the file Játiva Collegiate .

Expansion Paper from Játiva marked the announcement of the Modern Age, and its history makes the capital of the Coast a reference for his great contribution to civilization occidentall. Even today, the paper remains the primary means of recording and transmission of information.
