The Gran Hotel Bali III of Benidorm (Costa Blanca), opened on May 17, 2002, is the tallest hotel in Europe and was the tallest building in Spain since Torre Picasso surpassed until November 2006 when it was overtaken by Torre Espacio Madrid.

The hotel, four stars, measuring 186 meters tall, has 52 floors include: 776 rooms, twelve of them suites, 68 junior suites and ten rooms adapted for disabled people. The hotel is considered the safest Europe.

The Gran Hotel Bali III, which is located in La Cala de Benidorm, was begun in 1988 with a budget close to 2,000 million pesetas, and the structure was completed ten years later. The architect of this major project was the architect Antonio Escario .
